It was magic evening straight Fairy tale.
Starting from dresses through choreography, music and decoration to people and entire atmosphere – amazing!

Chelsea Scanlan and I went to the NYC premiere screening of Charlize Theron’s new movie The Burning Plain last night. I love going to premiers- usually most of the cast is there with the director and they introduce the film and discuss the motivation behind making it and how it all went down. It was directed and written by Guillermo Arriaga, the screenwriter of Amores perros (2000), 21 Grams(2003), and Babel (2006) and stars Charlize Theron, Jennifer Lawrence, Kim Basinger and Joaquim de Almeida. Charlize is such a powerful actress and this film does not dissapoint.
SYNOPSIS:
The past and the present have a curious way of effecting one another as several people seperated by time and space are about to discover — Mariana, a 16-year-old girl trying to put together the shattered lives of her parents in a Mexican border town; Sylvia, a woman in Portland who must undertake an emotional odyssey to burnish a sin from her past; Gina and Nick, a couple who must deal with an intense and clandestine affair; and Maria, a young girl who helps her parents find redemption, forgiveness and love. The five will discover that their actions may mean the difference between life and death as well as their own journeys into seeking redemption…and whether or not they will ever find it.

Waiting for Johnny Depp to arrive on the red carpet for the premiere of his new movie - Public Enemies

Stop Johnny on the red carpet!

Johnny hopping out of the car and at this point I’m screaming Johnny, Johnny hahaha

Snap… Lights, Camera, Action! Gotta ya Johnny! Oh he is so amazing mmmmmm, so sexy!

This is a photo of some good friends and I at the after party for the premier of the new movie “Inglourious Basterds“ (Directed by Quentin Tarantino and staring Brad Pitt and Dianne Kruger) Quentin did an exceptional job with this film. Its incredibly graphic and violent yet still entertaining and even highly amusing in parts. A must see. Warning- it’s quite long and full of action but if you are a fan of Quentin, get in line now!
SYNOPSIS:
During World War II a group of Jewish-American soldiers known as “The Basterds” are chosen specifically to spread fear throughout the Third Reich by scalping and brutally killing Nazis. The Basterds soon cross paths with a French-Jewish teenage girl who runs a movie theater in Paris which is targeted by the soldiers.

Cutest japanese movie of a goldfish named “Ponyo” who falls in love with a 5 year old human boy. Such a cute love story, Definitely one to watch

I went to a midnight screening of “The Breakfast Club” for a friend’s birthday. I forgot how much I like it! Some of the people in the audience had seen it so many times, they were reciting the dialogue along with the characters. Now, if it were Strictly Ballroom, I could do that

These photos are of Lydia and I looking through the cute little English bookstore in Paris. We found some good reads!
My favourite was ‘Where The Wild Things Are’ which I loved as a child and has been made into a film and is coming to cinemas very soon.
