When I was in Japan a few months ago (before coming back to Sydney- but more on that later!) I was shooting for Madame Figaro. They asked if i could bleach my eyebrows for the job, which was fine with me, but i suggested the stylist do it to….and she did! It’s a pretty wicked look, but becomes pretty weird when your brows start to grow out again!

We celebrated last night with a traditional Shabu-shabu dinner in Tokyo. Its such an amazing experience having dinner here in Japan. Everything is so particular and they take so much care in the way they present and undertake the normal routine of eating. The tofu was home-made and the sake was amazing. The chicken was so fresh that you only needed to boil it in the water for a few seconds (they told us to say shabu-shabu as we dipped it in the water).

Campai! (cheers)
I landed here a week ago and I’m staying in a great area in central Tokyo. I spent my first day off shopping in Shibuya at a really cool department store called 109. Its filled with amazing cheap finds (albeit amongst some awful knock-offs) and if you come to Tokyo you MUST go there. (warning: its 7 levels of utter madness)
Plus- it’ s near the famous Shibuya crossing
