It was a day well spent shooting this music video with my amazing and talented friend Vincent Haycock.  Little did I know I’d be shooting in a Mexican candy & pinata store downtown until 4:00 in the morning dressed as a chola.  I’ve been typecast for years as the sexy pin-up or edgy vampire-like role, so getting to play a cute, playful store clerk was refreshing… and smiling felt sort of strange.

Self portrait of me in my favorite Alexander McQueen boots.  It was uncanny how they were perfectly toffee caramel brown…exactly like me.  When I wore them, it was like I was naked.  They were the first exquisite thing I bought when I received my first Modeling pay check.  Admittedly, I pretty much blew the entire check on them!

When I was in Japan a few months ago (before coming back to Sydney- but more on that later!) I was shooting for Madame Figaro. They asked if i could bleach my eyebrows for the job, which was fine with me, but i suggested the stylist do it to….and she did! It’s a pretty wicked look, but becomes pretty weird when your brows start to grow out again!

So, last week I worked for Nina Ricci and got a sneak peek at Peter Copping’s pre-fall collection. I became enamored with all the delicate and light colors used throughout the collection. Everything is very feminine with a bit of an edge. I’m one to wear a lot of black, navy, grey, and nude, so this collection has inspired me to add some very pale pastels into my wardrobe.
