Fun Filled Christmas

Family

09’s Christmas was filled with fun times!
Our lunch was asian inspired food, it was themed this year, it was such amazing food cooked by my Aunty and cousins. We had my Uncle taking our family portraits and group photos, which we get done every year.
A few of my older cousins and I took to my cousins room, cranked the music, had a dance and dressed up in her clothes, shortly after we were joined by most of the family in her medium sized room! it was good fun playing around with them!

By the end of the night after the pudding was lit on fire and the cheesecake was eaten, all 23 of us took a musical instrument and had a family jam session, great time to bond at Christmas.
Theses are a few photos from our dancing dress up time in my cousins room!

football

Unfortunately my friends wouldn’t let me play on their team at a local football friendly (think they didn’t trust my ball skills….)

but instead offered me a part in the cheerleading squad….

Our gear? Tiny shorts, lightsavers(complete with the woosh and lights, whoop whoop!) and hardhats!

I’m celebrating Thanksgiving with my family in Chicago, we made mashed potatoes, corn and green beans, scalloped turnips, scalloped oysters, gravy and Turkey with mushrooms and wine dressing, cider, montango cheese, peacan pie, apple cranberry pie and vanilla ice cream! Good thing we’re a whole bunch of people to eat it all! And this year our turkeys name is HOHOCO.

from Wisconsin - Happy Thanksgiving!

egga

Eating breakfast at Sarabeth’s on 59th street between 5th Ave and 6th Ave. The classic eggs benedict with orange juice and cappuccino, definately a nice place to catch up with family!

JP Morgan Corporate Challenge

Game on! Yesterday a team of colleagues and I from my office job entered into the JP Morgan Corporate Challenge which consisted of about 800 companies in Sydney running to support the Oncology Children’s Foundation. The OCF is a not-for-profit children’s charity dedicated to finding a cure for sick and critically ill children suffering from cancer, leukaemia and other serious cancer related illnesses. In Australia today more children die of oncology related conditions than any other disease.
run-12The Race gathers an estimated 8,000 people and is located at Centennial Park which is roughly 6kilometres! It was a great afternoon for it and I couldn’t think of a more worthy cause, if you would like to make a donation to the OCF click here. Alternatively you and your co-workers could enter next year… What better way to begin getting fit for summer!
