09’s Christmas was filled with fun times!
Our lunch was asian inspired food, it was themed this year, it was such amazing food cooked by my Aunty and cousins. We had my Uncle taking our family portraits and group photos, which we get done every year.
A few of my older cousins and I took to my cousins room, cranked the music, had a dance and dressed up in her clothes, shortly after we were joined by most of the family in her medium sized room! it was good fun playing around with them!

By the end of the night after the pudding was lit on fire and the cheesecake was eaten, all 23 of us took a musical instrument and had a family jam session, great time to bond at Christmas.

My friend Fabianne closed down her Cafe & Pastry shop on Christmas Eve night and created a feast for us. It was a proper Brazilian Christmas with rice, beans, lentil, fish and the most exquisite desserts. Of course she cooked for an army so I ended up taking about 10 pounds of food home.

We celebrated last night with a traditional Shabu-shabu dinner in Tokyo. Its such an amazing experience having dinner here in Japan. Everything is so particular and they take so much care in the way they present and undertake the normal routine of eating. The tofu was home-made and the sake was amazing. The chicken was so fresh that you only needed to boil it in the water for a few seconds (they told us to say shabu-shabu as we dipped it in the water).

I’m celebrating Thanksgiving with my family in Chicago, we made mashed potatoes, corn and green beans, scalloped turnips, scalloped oysters, gravy and Turkey with mushrooms and wine dressing, cider, montango cheese, peacan pie, apple cranberry pie and vanilla ice cream! Good thing we’re a whole bunch of people to eat it all! And this year our turkeys name is HOHOCO.

Eating breakfast at Sarabeth’s on 59th street between 5th Ave and 6th Ave. The classic eggs benedict with orange juice and cappuccino, definately a nice place to catch up with family!

I was wishing this set for our holiday gift guide was the size of my New York Apartment. By the way, the organic cookies - pumpkin pie bites, dulche de leche cookies, and vegan chocolate chip cookies = delicious! The poor food stylist backstage had to keep on making more because they were mysteriously disappearing.
