So, last week I worked for Nina Ricci and got a sneak peek at Peter Copping’s pre-fall collection. I became enamored with all the delicate and light colors used throughout the collection. Everything is very feminine with a bit of an edge. I’m one to wear a lot of black, navy, grey, and nude, so this collection has inspired me to add some very pale pastels into my wardrobe.

Here I am on the catwalk opening the fashion show for the TV series: CSI Miami.  It was so much fun working with the Wardrobe team and of course all of the amazing Directors!  Everyone was so kind!  The Stylist even gave me the cool red boots that you see me wearing in the opening scene!  Niiiiiice Score!

This past month I shot an eco-conscious beauty shoot with Gilles Bensimon for Above Magazine - a Vanity Fair-style mag for Avant-garde environmentalists. It took place on a beautiful beach - but unfortunately one located at the tip of Long Island in the middle of winter. Submerged in freezing cold water isn’t my ideal shooting condition - but hey, since when do I call the shots on these things anyway? :o) Despite the cold temperatures, I must admit the opportunity to shoot outdoors was invigorating.

I love how Gilles sat right down in the cold water.

Starting from dresses through choreography, music and decoration to people and entire atmosphere – amazing!

Canadian designer Erdem Moralioglu for Fashion in Motion at London’s Victoria & Albert Museum

Here are some photos from a shoot I recently did for Elle, where I got to personally meet and be dressed by 4 different editors and fashion editors from the magazine.  I was really pleased, as this meant that I was able to get an insight into the artistic outlook of this heavyweight fashion magazine.
I arrived to a wonderful team on a frosty December morning, made my introductions, and went straight to hair and make up-the day had begun!  Over the next 8 hours I was transformed four times proving that Elle knows how to do it well, and with speed!!
The first look was all about the poncho-mac. They’re coming in people and soon!

This was followed by the flowery light hearted hippy chick look with some funky dungarees. Next it was on to that timeless denim style with those red lips that are very in vogue right now.

For the final look I was sleeked back and vamped, and getting a bit more sassy than any of the other outfits had allowed me!
It was an exciting day and lots of fun.  I certainly look forward to working with the Elle team again.
