about me

I'm living in New York right now, but am originally from Russia. I moved to Boston with my family when I was in high school and then moved to NYC for modeling and school! While attending New York University I studied directing, acting a psychology, and upon graduating I started acting full time as well as continuing to model!
On my spare time I love painting, exploring the city with my friends, going to art shows and plays, cinematography, traveling, photography, healthy living and anything new that I can learn!  I try to juggle my Russian friends and family with my American friends and my life in America.

It’s that time of the year! Halloween is coming up and I got a chance to go visit my mom adn brother in Boston with my dog Diesel. We did pumpkin carving which has become a tradition the last couple of years, even though we’re from Russia and we don’t have Halloween there. What do you guys think of my pumpkin?

New York, I Love You

new_york_i_love_you_ver3_xlgI recently went to the premiere of the film “New York I Love You” starring Natalie Portman, Shia LaBeouf, Bradley Copper and many others. It is an anthology by several very talented directors about New York, and a follow up to Paris Je T’aime! It was very interesting to see how different directors see New York stylistically and story wise! Being a New Yorker now myself, I loved it! My outfit was from an amazing store in SoHo called LF

While in Moscow I did a bit of touristy stuff, as I don’t go home often, and it’s been a while since I’ve been to some of these great places!

Home to Moscow, I go…

This summer I went home to Moscow to visit all the friends and family I haven’t seen in a while. It was nice to just hang out at home and relax as well as to do a bit of sightseeing and going out!

a little village on the outskirts of Moscow.

While walking around we discovered a bunch of wild poppies growing in a field. That’s an unusual thing to see, as poppies are illegal to grow in most countries!

4

My brother and I went jogging on a filed near our summer house for a little exercise, and to our surprise found cows, horses and geese hanging out there! We literally did laps around them :)

Time Out in The Bahamas

Bahamas

Recently I was on a family vacation in the Bahamas. This was my third visit to the Bahamas, and I have to say that it is probably my favorite place to go to relax and have fun with family and friends! The water is turquoise and clear, the weather is amazing, and the Bahamians are so friendly and fun!
This time we went horse back riding on the beach, swam with dolphins and went snorkeling with sharks! I chickened out and didn’t go in at that part, but mostly because the water was cold, not because I was scared ;)

A Trip Back in Time

first-street-in-philadelphia

I had a shoot in Philadelphia recently, and had a few hours to walk around and explore the city. A lot of the times when I travel for work, I don’t get a chance to actually see the city, so this was a fun opportunity! I went to see one of the very first residential streets in America. It’s called Elfreth’s Alley and dates back to 1700’s! I was surprised to see that there are still people residing on this historical street. There were two young boys kicking around a soccer ball. It was peculiar to see that on a backdrop of buildings that very much look like they did back in the 18th century!
